How to do it

  1. Lie on your back, knees bent, feet flat and hip-width.
  2. Squeeze glutes and drive hips up until body forms a straight line from knees to shoulders.
  3. Hold 2 seconds, squeezing glutes.
  4. Lower under control.

Form cues

  • Full glute squeeze at the top
  • Ribs stay down (no lower back arch)
  • Even weight through both feet

Common mistakes

  • Overextending the lower back
  • Only halfway up

  • Glute bridge → single-leg bridge → hip thrust
